How can we improve Zintro?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.

    We plan on creating industry specific pages where Experts with relevant areas of expertise will be able to interact, share materials, links, webinars and discuss relevant subjects.

  2. When clients request an expert, make it compulsory that they include their budget or per hour rate for the project.

    I get the impression that many clients are looking for something for nothing. Inclusion of a budget in their request should weed out those who are not serious.

    Currently each inquiry indicates if the Client has a budget, we will consider asking for the budget amount but that might be information the client is not willing to share.

  6. Add metrics on inquiries - broken down by industry, profession, geography, type, value, ,etc.

    Provide metrics on total requests, broken down by industry/profession, geography, type, est. value, etc. The ROI was not there for me after 3 months at the expert level. If the possibility is there and I am not seeing it by just browsing, this type of data may compel me to re-enroll at the expert level.

  8. Please make it easier to return to the last place viewed in the opportunity list, after an opportunity is read in detail

    When an opportunity is investigated, Zintro returns the reader to the top of the list. It would be far more accommodating to return to the last place investigated on the list

  9. Zintro should ensure that opportunities fit the consultant profile geographic constraints.

    I plan to work with clients in the US and Canada. Most opportunities presented to me are not in those countries. Many do not even state the country.

    When I have asked for clarification, the answer was to ask the prospective client.

    We are working on improving the information provided and displayed in each Inquiry. We are also working on improving location based services.

    Zintro is focused on highly specialized expertise and location services can sometimes be difficult with the scarcity of highly specialized experts.

  10. When looking for experts like myself, it would help to get an idea which geographical area we are talking about (e.g. USA; Europe; UK etc).

    Quite frequently, the search for an expert is not that specific. I might have specific knowledge about motor insurance. However, motor insurance in the US vs UK vs South Korea is very different. The art of premium calculation would be similar but legal issues and claims experience vary significantly.

    provide appealing ads for your experts to use as clickable call to action. Provides a way for a potential customer to get more info or to register there project in as a potential assignment. Experts would be rewarded for finding the customer by getting a finders fee or discounts for using the zintro brand and services. I can make up ads with the zintro brand logo and other graphics in different approved sizes for banners, medium size square ads, text ads for enzine articles or craiglist etc.
