Pay fees direct to bank
Provide a better method of payment for monies recieved. Using PayPal is secure but it is expensive for the consultant. Please give us the option to have fees earned transferred directly to our bank accounts. Thank you.45 votes

Zintro needs better control of the status of projects posted and responses.
Many projects, irrespective of posted expiration dates, are not "open," - I have found clients that have posted but are not interested in further responses as they have found a vendor, lost budget for project, changed interest, etc. In order that the Zintro open project list is not riddled with unavailable work and wasting vendors' efforts, please find better controls for posting and expiring projects. This could be done in various ways, including requesting a vendor update project status, indicating on a project whether a vendor has hired a consultant or not, etc.34 votesstarted · Zintro Preferred Support responded
We just rolled out new functionality to allow clients to close inquiries when positions have been filled, automatically notifying all involved experts.
In the upcoming months we will roll out new expiration policies that will automatically close inquiries if there has not been Client activity during a certain period of time.
We are also working on increasing the visibility into the status of inquiries and responses.

Zintro should ensure that opportunities fit the consultant profile geographic constraints.
I plan to work with clients in the US and Canada. Most opportunities presented to me are not in those countries. Many do not even state the country.
When I have asked for clarification, the answer was to ask the prospective client.28 votes
We are working on improving the information provided and displayed in each Inquiry. We are also working on improving location based services.
Zintro is focused on highly specialized expertise and location services can sometimes be difficult with the scarcity of highly specialized experts.

When clients request an expert, make it compulsory that they include their budget or per hour rate for the project.
I get the impression that many clients are looking for something for nothing. Inclusion of a budget in their request should weed out those who are not serious.20 votes
Currently each inquiry indicates if the Client has a budget, we will consider asking for the budget amount but that might be information the client is not willing to share.
Speed up payment processing
Payment processing takes at least 3 - 5 days, sometimes more, after a client releases funds. The majority of other similar platforms process payments same day, usually within a matter of hours.18 votes

When looking for experts like myself, it would help to get an idea which geographical area we are talking about (e.g. USA; Europe; UK etc).
Quite frequently, the search for an expert is not that specific. I might have specific knowledge about motor insurance. However, motor insurance in the US vs UK vs South Korea is very different. The art of premium calculation would be similar but legal issues and claims experience vary significantly.17 votes

Please make it easier to return to the last place viewed in the opportunity list, after an opportunity is read in detail
When an opportunity is investigated, Zintro returns the reader to the top of the list. It would be far more accommodating to return to the last place investigated on the list13 votes

Allow flagging of inquiries in conversations for future review
My one major complaint is that I can't flag an opportunity for further action. It gets very frustrating to have to go over the entire list from the start for every opportunity of interest.10 votes

There should be an option to delete a response I send to an inquiry
If I send a response to an inquiry in error, I should be able to delete my response and the person looking for the expert should also not be able to see the response once I delete it at my end7 votes
Zintro needs to obey its own contractual period for processing payments
Last 1 year, i have experienced too many delays with payment processing and every time the processing time is becoming longer. Even though the first message from Zintro says the payment will be processed within 7-10 business days, this is never the case in reality. Most of the time it is 12-13 days after numerous reminders and lately i have pending payments to be processed 3 weeks (15 business days) after being released by the client. Zintro used the be one of the fastest platforms few years ago for payment processing and succeeded to be worse and worse every year. This situation is causing experts to seek alternative transaction options with the clients.

Allow hiding of Inquiries in search results
After I have sorted the inquiries according to date, and have read the summary, if I am not interested in looking at the expanded message, there should be a way to not see those that don’t interest me the next time I do a search.6 votes
