Zintro david-stern2690 Jewelers can be their own worst enemy
We have all heard the stories about stone swapping.
After 45 years in the business, I personally have only been told 3 times about this, and then it didn't happen to the person telling the story. The story normally goes like this; "my sister's husband's mother's diamond was swapped" or "my brother's wife's diamond was swapped" or similar. Very rarely have I dealt with this problem where it has happened first hand, but the story continues because it resonates.
Find the solution and learn how to feel confident to leave your stones without this stress in my next post.
Remember that an educated consumer is in control and will be able to avoid this and other issues by arming yourself with the knowledge need to recognize a jeweler who is not protecting your interaction by failing to follow important procedures.
