Show experts how many others have been invited to submit a proposal. I'm more likely to respond if the client has shortlisted me.
When someone calls or emails me (outside of Zintro), I make a point of always responding. I think it is courteous and professional to do so. When I receive a proposal invitation in Zintro, I don't know if the invitation has been blasted out to dozens or hundreds of others, or to a shortlist of experts. It would be very helpful to know.

Now you can see if you were shortlisted in any conversation. We will include more visibility to the status of an inquiry and it’s responders in the near future.
