Display DOI in OJS 3
DOI (Digital Object Identifier) is a unique identifier that is used to identify digital objects, such as journal articles, datasets, and other research outputs. In OJS 3, the DOI of an article can be displayed on the article's abstract page and on the article's full-text page.
To display the DOI in OJS 3, you will need to have access to the OJS 3 administrator account. Once you have access, you can follow these steps to display the DOI:
Log in to the OJS 3 website as an administrator.
Click on the "Settings" tab in the top menu, and then select "Website" from the submenu.
Scroll down to the "Metadata" section, and click on the "Custom Metadata" option.
In the "Custom Metadata" field, add the following code:
Copy code
<p>DOI: <a href="https://doi.org/{$article->getDOI()}">{$article->getDOI()}</a></p>
Click on the "Save" button to save your changes.
After you have added this code, the DOI of each article will be displayed on the article's abstract page and on the article's full-text page. The DOI will be displayed as a hyperlink that points to the article's page on the DOI website. This will make it easy for readers to access the article using its DOI.
